Situation

How to completely uninstall the GroupWise Client including client files, registry files, etc.

Resolution

Please follow the steps below to uninstall the GroupWise Client from a Windows workstation:

GroupWise 2014:

  1. Uninstall the GroupWise Client using Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Restart the Workstation


GroupWise 8 and 2012:

  1. Uninstall the GroupWise Client using Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Download and run gwCleanIt (removes client files, registry files, etc for GroupWise).
    Note: This is a 3rd party tool released by Netmail. For more details, please refer to their website: https://www.netmail.com/email-essentials-cleanit.
  3. Restart the Workstation
