Situation
When working with firewalls, what ports must be enabled between the Mobility Service and Devices?
Resolution
The firewall should have either port 80 (non-secure) or 443 (secure) open for the devices coming inbound. It should also have port 8120 open coming inbound if users want to have access to webadmin to change their own settings.
The firewall should have ports 1025 and above open going back outbound. This is allows for the Mobility servers to communicate back to the devices. For most firewalls, this is enabled by default.
