Situation

List of changes and fixes made in the new IDM 4.0.2b ISO refresh

Resolution

Mainframes (RACF, Top Secret, ACF2)

ACF2 bidirectional driver was added to the ISO image.

Changes and enhancements in the 4.0.2b release include:

  • Fixed OC1, OC4 and U1000 abends in SAFQUERY

  • Fixed query to properly return several attributes.

  • Fixed OC4 abend in IDMSETV and IDMGETV

  • Fixed network errors on busy LPARs

  • Fixed query-token to be used in Output Transformation

  • Fixed some RACF dates that were off by one day

  • Fixed Publisher Input and Subscriber Output Transforms

  • Fixed a CPU loop in the publisher channel when network connection is unavailable.

  • Exit code from RACFDRV started task is now properly returned.

  • Upgraded OpenSSL

 
Linux and Unix (Fan-out and Bidirectional)

Changes and enhancements in the 4.0.2b fan-out release include:

  • Upgraded OpenSSL

  • FIPS 140-2 Compliance for 64-bit Linux

  • Support for 64-bit Solaris

  • Improved thread processing for lots of simultaneously connected clients

  • Better interoperability with SELinux

  • Updated iManager Fan-Out plugin for required TLS support

  • Miscellaneous bug fixes

  • Platform Certificate auto-renewal via command-line


Changes and enhancements in the 4.0.2b bidirectional release include:

  • Upgraded OpenSSL

  • FIPS 140-2 Compliance for 64-bit Linux

  • Changelog encryption upgraded to AES256 for FIPS compliance


Scripting

Changes and enhancements in the 4.0.2b release include:

  • Upgraded OpenSSL.

  • FIPS 140-2 Compliance for 64-bit Linux.

  • Changelog encryption upgraded to AES256 for FIPS compliance

  • Query back operations work properly for Poll and Heartbeat Unix scripts.

  • Fixed bug in publishing from multiple instances of the Unix Scripting Driver

  • Added support for querying GCV’s from the Scripts

  • Added support for Windows PowerShell 4.0.

  • Fixed memory overload on Windows.
