Situation

Advanced properties of the email sent to Internet shows 'Transfer Failed'

Resolution

Verify the correct default GWIA is being used
  1. Launch ConsoleOne
  2. Click Tools | GroupWise System Operations | Internet Addressing | Internet Agent for outbound SMTP/MIME Messages
  3. Select the correct default GWIA that should be used

Cause

Outbound email may be using the incorrect default GWIA for outbound SMTP/MIME messages
