Novell GroupWise Mobility Service

Situation

Appointments/Tasks with attachments are lost in GroupWise Client when modified on the device.

Steps to duplicate:

- create a task
- attach a file or mail to that task
- save the task
- wait for sync to mobile device.

Check the mobile device for the Task/Appointment with attachment.

Resolution

Reported to development.

Additional Information

Steps to duplicate:

1. Create a Appointment/task with attachment in Client
2. On the device it comes down without attachment because ActiveSync does not support attacments for Appointment and Task
3. Modify the Appointment or task and attachment gets deleted in GroupWise CLient
