Situation

Time Stamp on the Device is incorrect
Time Stamp on the Device and GroupWise Client is different
Time Stamp / Date for the Delayed Emails on the device shows as created date/time instead of delivery date/time
Delayed Delivery mails have wrong date / time on the device

Resolution

  1. Make sure that GroupWise Mobility Service is updated to 2.0 or 2.0.1 by typing cat /opt/novell/datasync/version on the GroupWise Mobility Service Server
  2. Download and extract util.pyc from ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/868307.zip
  3. Type rcgms stop to stop GroupWise Mobility Service
  4. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/conv and rename util.pyc to util.orig
  5. Copy the extracted util.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/conv 
  6. Type rcgms start and press Enter
  7. New emails will have proper time. If time stamp  on the old email needs to be correct, please re-initialize the user account from Mobility WebAdmin
