Novell GroupWise Mobility Service 2.0.1

Situation

Unable to receive emails on LG Device
LG Device cannot see any emails in Inbox on the device

Resolution

  1. Make sure that GroupWise Mobility Service is updated to 2.0 or 2.0.1 by typing cat /opt/novell/datasync/version on the GroupWise Mobility Service Server
  2. Download and extract asConstants.pyc from ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/867660.zip
  3. Type rcgms stop to stop GroupWise Mobility Service and press Enter
  4. Browse to opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device and rename asConstants.pyc to asConstants.orig
  5. Copy the extracted asConstants.pyc to opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device
  6. Type rcgms start to start Mobility Service and press Enter
