Situation
When attempting to log into the GroupWise client, it will crash right after entering the user's password
When logging into web access it says "please specify a folder" and will not log in
GMS and Datasync are still working normally
Resolution
- Launch ConsoleOne
- Right-click on the problem user and select GroupWise Utilities | Mailbox/Library Maintenance
- Select Analyze/Fix Databases and check Structure, Contents and Fix problems check-boxes
- Select the Misc tab on the bottom and enter FOLDERRESET for the support options
- If an email notification for the completion is desired, select the results tab and enter the the desired email
- Click Run in the top right
When the check completes the user should be able to log into the client and webaccess properly
