Blackberry 10 Mobility/Activesync Email Account Information Unexpectedly Wiped

When the BlackBerry 10 smartphone with an integrated Microsoft ActiveSync account is restarted, it prompts the user for the password to unlock the smartphone (expected behavior).

Afterwards, a second prompt is displayed requesting the user to unlock the smartphone, however, the user is able to cancel this prompt and the smartphone appears unlocked. If the user taps the Cancel button or does not enter the password in this second prompt within 30 seconds, the Microsoft ActiveSync account becomes invalid and all of the account's content is wiped from the smartphone.


This issue is a Blackberry issue and unrelated to GroupWise Mobility Service.   Please monitor the following URL for updates to the situation.
