Situation
eDirectory 8.8.1 patch breaks auditing
NMAS doesn't work after 8.8.1 update
Resolution
The current workaround is to copy logevent.rpmsave to logevent.conf and restart eDirectory with rcndsd restart
Cause
The patch for eDirectory 8.8.1 takes the logevent.conf file and replaces with a default one which in turns breaks the auditing component. There is some incorrect use of remove/install RPMs instead of using the upgrade functionality
