No SMTP notifications are sent

Novell Service Desk

Situation

SMTP configured but no emails are being sent.

Resolution

After configuring correct email address, reboot Service Desk server.

Cause

Incorrect SMTP server address entered.  Service Desk server was not rebooted after correct SMTP server address was entered.
