Situation

ndsd crashes in libxadsdk.so with empty SID in ldapsearch
After applying the November 2013 Maintenance Patch, ndsd crashes

Resolution

Contact Support for the fix until it is released in a Maintenance Patch.

Cause

A ldap request with the base being a Security ID is the cause of the issue.
The request is usually coming from an application.
The search request looks something like this:
ldapsearch -Y EXTERNAL -b "<SID=>" -s base dn
