Environment

Novell Service Desk 7

Situation

Running a Test for Novell Service Desk (NSD) LDAP configuration
Test shows that a number of customers are in the Customers group

Running an LDAP user import in NSD
No customers are listed in Users > Customers

Resolution

Enable NSD LDAP to include customers:

  1. Login an Administrator user into NSD web console
  2. Enable and save this setting: Setup > Privileges > Customer > LDAP/AD > Include Customers > Yes
  3. Sync the LDAP source: Setup > LDAP > Sync
