Unable to start GroupWise agents with error segmentation fault

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8
Novell GroupWise 2012
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 (OES 11) Linux

Situation

Unable to start WebAccess with segmentation fault
Agents are not starting up with rcgrpwise start

Resolution

  1. Go to the software distribution directory and run the GroupWise install
  2. Click Install Products | GroupWise Agents | Configure Agents
  3. Go through the configuration to get all of the agents setup properly

Cause

This can be caused by not having the agents configured properly.
