1. Launch a terminal session and type wget ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/allInclusivePatch3.tar.gz
   
2. Type unzip 861830-868698.zip and press Enter
3. Type cd /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device 
   press Enter
4. Type rcgms stop and press Enter
5. Rename itemOperations.pyc to itemOperations.orig
6. Rename sync.pyc to sync.orig
7. Copy the extracted itemOperations.pyc and sync.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device
8. Type rcgms start and press Enter
9. Resync the device from Mobility WebAdmin or remove and re-add the account on the device

2. Type cd /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device
   press Enter
3. Type rcgms stop and press Enter
4. Rename itemOperations.pyc to itemOperations.orig
5. Rename sync.pyc to sync.orig
6. Copy the extracted itemOperations.pyc and sync.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device
7. Type rcgms start and press Enter
8. Resync the device from Mobility WebAdmin or remove and re-add the account on the device

1. Stop DataSync by typing rcdatasync stop and press Enter
2. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device  and rename sync.pyc to sync.orig
3. Download and extract sync.pyc from
   ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/847137.zip
4. Copy the extracted sync.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device
5. Start DataSync by typing rcdatasync start and press Enter
6. Resync the device from Mobility WebAdmin OR remove and re-add the account on the device
