Situation
On the Form designer, there is no option to specify that a field is not searchable. This will be useful if you have certain fields on a form which you do not wish to add to the search index.
Resolution
A fix for this issue is available in the Vibe 3.4 Hot Patch 1, available via the Novell Patch Finder.
Additional Information
With the fix the following fields may be excluded from search:
- text
- teaxtarea
- check boxes
- radio buttons
- select boxes
- URLs
- numbers
- hidden fields
- email lists
