Authentication Failure for OpenID user in Filr

Situation

An OpenID user receives a document share email from Filr and follows the link to view the file. The attempt to login as an OpenID user fails with an error "Sign In failed, please try again.".

Resolution

Check and make sure that the Filr server's clock is set properly. If the time is off, reset the clock followed by a reboot and try the login again.

Cause

The machines must be within maximum of 60 seconds difference in time, in order for OpenID authentication to work properly. This is to protect system from replay attack.
