Device logs in fine some times and some times fails with invalid password error after upgrading to Mobility Service 2.0

Situation

Symptoms:
Device logs in fine some times and some times fails with invalid password error
Restarting the Services makes it work fine
Unable to authenticate with multiple devices
Unable to connect with multiple devices
Device works sometimes and sometimes does not
 
Change:
Upgraded to GroupWise Mobility Service 2.0

Resolution

  1. Download and extract gw_driver.pyc from
    ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/854593.zip
  2. Type rcgms stop to stop Mobility Services
  3. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/auth and rename gw_driver.pyc to gw_driver.orig
  4. Copy the extracted gw_driver.pyc to the above location
  5. Type rcgms start to start Mobility Services
