Environment

Novell GroupWise 8
Novell GroupWise 2012

Situation

Invalid recipient causes valid users in other post offices to not receive emails
Mail sent to valid recipient stays pending if an invalid user is mentioned in the To Field
Messages does not get delivered between different post offices if an the message is sent to an invalid recipient too
Message to valid users stay pending if an email it sent to valid and invalid users

Resolution

To further explain the issue, an email is sent to
user1@example.com (internal user in a different post office)
user2@example.com (internal user in a different post office)
user3@example.com (internal user in the same post office)
user4a@example.com (User that does not exist)

The email to user4a@example.com bounces back. The email to user3@example.com works because the user is in the same post office. The emails to user1 and user2 stays pending
