Blank Page Trying To Launch Webaccess After Creating New Application Server

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 3 Hot Patch 1

Situation

When trying to launch the webpage for web access with the following command of blank page is displayed:

<IP Address>/gw/webacc

The following is displayed in xxxxWAS.xxx log file:

GWAP>, -, ERROR, -, Config failed: GroupWise WebAccess Agent Error: Configuration file not found (/opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess/commgr.cfg)

Resolution

Copy the commgr.cfg file from the <domain>/wpgate/webac80a folder to the /var/opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess folder and verify that is the same size as the one in the <domain>/wpgate/webac80a folder.

Cause

The commgr.cfg file in the /var/opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess folder is not the same size as the commgr.cfg file in the <domain>/wpgate/webac80a folder.
