Situation

GroupWise fails to start on boot on Linux
Unable to start GroupWise using the rcgrpwise script on a terminal session

Resolution

If /etc/opt/novell/groupwise/gwha.conf file has "show      = yes" for the agents, then agent will not start during boot or in terminal session without GUI. Follow the steps listed below to disable show command in gwha.conf file
  1. Edit /etc/opt/novell/groupwise/gwha.conf
  2. Remove "show      = yes" from all the agents
  3. Save the file
