Unable to access Vibe from all addresses in the subnet

Environment

Novell Vibe 3.4

Situation

New Vibe install and unable to reach the site from some IP addresses.
Using WireShark to capture packets shows only SYN but no ACK packets.
Can ping Vibe server from workstation but can't reach port 8080 on internet browser

Resolution

  1. On Vibe server go to YaST
  2. Under Groups select Security and Users
  3. Click on Firewall
  4. Select Disable Firewall Automatic Starting
  5. Click on Stop Firewall Now
  6. Click Next
