IMAP does not download new messages in the folder in realtime

Situation

IMAP client connected to GWIA or POA does not download new messages in the same session if the folder was selected without sending a NOOP command
IMAP GWIA does not support IMAP IDLE command
 

Resolution

Please configure the IMAP Client to send a NOOP after the folder is selected or perform a Send/Retrieve on IMAP Client again
