Situation

Although the upgrade to ZCM 11.2.4 goes through successfully, %ZENWORKS_HOME%\FDE\fdeVersion.dll still shows as version 11.2.3.337, and %ZENWORKS_HOME%\logs\system-update\5011020400fc50000000002013100419\novell-zenworks-fde-api-11.2.4.456.msi.log contains MSI error 1638

Devices which have a fresh install of the ZCM 11.2.4 agent have %ZENWORKS_HOME%\FDE\fdeVersion.dll version 11.2.4.470

Resolution

This can safely be ignored, but may be useful to distinguish between devices that have been upgraded, and those which have had a fresh install of ZCM 11.2.4

Cause

Because the code for FDE has not changed from ZCM 11.2.3a to ZCM 11.2.4, the "upgrade" has no work to do.
