Situation
Windows File Shares not available after uninstalling NSL7
Unable to access files on Domain after SecureLogin has been removed
Windows error: Location is not available.
Uninstalling NSL7 deletes Network provider order key
Resolution
Either
- Apply NSL7.0.3 HF7 before uninstalling OR
- Apply NSL8 before uninstalling (i.e. upgrade, don't uninstall and reinstall)
Or if the uninstall has already been done:
- Copy the ProviderOrder value from a working workstation. This is located at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order
