Environment
Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 Bundles
Situation
Create a personality migration store and apply personality
bundles.
Have the respective store and apply personality launch action point to a pnp file path on a UNC path where the logged-in user can read and create files.
Storing the personality information fails with an error:
Migration encountered an error. The parameters are invalid.
Applying the personality information fails with a error:
Die Migration konnte nicht gestartet werden, weil die folgende Datei nicht gefunden wurde: "\\192.168.1.41\share\PersonalityMigration\IEngels.pnp"
on a German language device indicating that the personality migration could not be started since the file on the given UNC path was not found.

Resolution
Workaround:
Point the store and apply personality bundle action to a local device path like %temp%\%username%.pnp and add a bundle launch copy file action running as logged-in user to copy the local file to and from the UNC path after storing and before applying the personality settings.
Point the store and apply personality bundle action to a local device path like %temp%\%username%.pnp and add a bundle launch copy file action running as logged-in user to copy the local file to and from the UNC path after storing and before applying the personality settings.
Cause
The store and apply personality bundle action run with the dynamic
administrator user option and the DAU account does not have access
to the logged-in user environment.
