Environment

NetIQ Access Manager 3.2

Situation

Although reported against 3.2.2, the following issue existed with many previous versions, including NAM 3.1.

Duplicated in house using following steps:
a) Simply access an AG protected resource and
b) authenticate at the IDP server
c) verify the catalina log files (log level must be set to min WARNING) and locate the assertion processed by the ESP
d) verify the following WARNING is displayed after each new authenitcation:

<amLogEntry> 2013-07-05T15:38:11Z WARNING NIDS Application: An attribute thought to be cachable isnt found saml:NameIdentifier </amLogEntry>

Although the message is cosmetic and can be ignored, it would be nice if this was changed so that it does not get displayed under the WARNINGs. There is no need to be concerned with this message.

Resolution

Fixed in 3.2.2 IR1.

The above mentioned entries now come with Info and Debug logs. And doesn't come with logs option enable on or below warning.
