Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.4 Imaging
Situation
Unable to contact a ZCM PXE server.
Resolution
Novell introduced Native 64-bit UEFI support with ZCM 11.2.4.
Support for 32-bit UEFI is under consideration for future releases.
To enable imaging support on a 32-bit UEFI Device (or on a 64-bit UEFI prior to 11.2.4) then "Legacy Bios Emulation" must be enabled in the Device's UEFI Configuration (Formerly Known as BIOS).
Different Devices may not always term the option as "Legacy Bios Emulation", so looking for an option that appears to indicate a similar function may be necessary.
Note: 32-bit Versions of Windows require a 32-bit UEFI to boot and 64-bit Versions of Windows require a 64-bit UEFI to boot.
This generally makes it quite easy to determine if a device has a 32-bit or 64-bit version of UEFI.
