Situation
Help desk idle timeout setting not applied to helpdesk user Changes made in "Idle Timeout Seconds for Helpdesk Users" setting don't stick "Idle Timeout Seconds for Helpdesk Users" setting not applied Idle timeout in help desk module shows value applied to regular users, not help desk users.
Resolution
Addressed in SSPR 3.0.0.1 or later.
Also, set the Helpdesk idle time higher than the General setting idle time. The purpose of this setting is to allow helpdesk users to have a longer timeout than general users. Setting the helpdesk timeout to a value shorter than the general timeout will have no effect.

NOTE: If multiple browser tabs are open to SSPR and the application times out on one tab, the Helpdesk module will also timeout on the other tab. The connection to the entire browser is closed if SSPR times out on one tab.
