Notify folder list missing for users with over 4,000 folders in cabinet

One user has reduced their folder count to 4,132 folders in the cabinet.

 

When the user had a larger number of folders, they were not able to receive notifications of new mail messages. If you right click on the Notify icon |Options | General, the 'Select folders to check for notifcations' window would be completely blank.

After the user reduced the folder count to 4,132, that window was then populated and notify worked properly.
