How to upgrade NetIQ Client in silent mode

You can use the following command at Client msi folder (it can be a local or a network folder): msiexec /i client.msi /q .

But first of all you’ll need to close any programs, because installation will automatically restart the workstation.

P.S. msiexec also has /norestart parameter, but if you will use it, you’ll have to restart workstation manually.
