Address book not visible on RDP desktops

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8
Novell GroupWise 2012
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Situation

Cannot view address books for users through terminal session
Unable to see address book in terminal session
Remote Users cannot see the Address Book when connected using Remote Desktop Protocol

Resolution

  1. Login as a problem user to the terminal session
  2. Launch regedit and backup [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem]
  3. Delete [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem] after backing it up
  4. Launch GroupWise Client and it should recreate the above key. Make sure the key exists
  5. Check Address Book

If the above does not fix the issue, reinstall GroupWise Client and then follow the steps above
