ZCM User assigned bundles won't show for a few specific users

Workaround:  Use AD groups which do not contain Unicode strings in the CN attribute field.

The problem groups are created by an IDM like application called UMRA that automatically creates these groups, and uses Unicode characters if the character used in the name is not found in the standard ASCII table. All the users which are experiencing the empty NAL problem are a member of an Active Directory user group that is using Unicode CN strings and are used for a user assigned bundle.

 

Viewing the problem group within the ZENworks Control Center (ZCC), it is represented normally and readable.  But when when viewed with an LDAP browser or ADSI Edit the CN attribute is filled with Unicode string.
