Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 Bundles

Situation

In a Bundle export, if the file name of the related MSI file contains spaces, the ActionContentInfo.xml file may list the name of the MSI including the characters """ which will cause the creation of a new Bundle using the export to fail.

Example:

<ContentFilePath includeAllFilesinFolder="false"
includeAllFilesinSubFolders="false">&amp;quot;test
bundle.msi&amp;quot;</ContentFilePath>

Workaround:

Before creating the new Bundle, edit the ActionContentInfo.xml file to reflect the correct name of the MSI file.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.4 - see KB 7012027 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.4 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7012027
