URL field on user profile fails to open in new window

Novell Vibe 3.x

Situation

When the User Profile Form/View is modified and a URL field added to it with the option "Open URL in new Window", the URL fails to open in a new window. Instead, it is opened in the iFrame.

Resolution

This problem has been reported to engineering. As a workaround, use the mouse right-click button and choose either:
'Open link in new tab' or 'Open link in new window'.

Additional Information

Note: Some URLs do not allow to be opened/rendered in an iFrame and as a result, clicking on such a URL will yield a blank iFrame.
