New bundle version does not launch on past due schedule

Situation

User or device assigned bundle has been scheduled to run on a time and/or date already in the past and option Process Immediately if Device Unable to Execute on Schedule enabled.

The bundle launched already one time and bundle got changed and released with a new version.

The new bundle version does not launch.

Resolution

This is working as by product design. A new bundle version should not automatically enforce bundle reinstall with past due schedule.

Workaround:
Set a new (future) bundle schedule

Additional Information

By current ZCM agent design, the agent should launch the new bundle version on same past due schedule.
