ZCM PRU not importing due to database deadlocks

Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 Inventory

Situation

The ZCM PRU (Product Recognition Update) will not import into System Update correctly and inventory is likely to stop processing.

This is seen in the loader-messages.log:

[DEBUG] [06/03/13 15:15:12] [] [ApplyPru] [1013] [] [com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.InternalDataModelException: java.sql.SQLException: Transaction (Process ID 238) was deadlocked on lock | communication buffer resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.4 - see KB 7012027 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.4 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at:
