Situation

Symptom
Unable to delete an extra connector after upgrading to Mobility Pack 1.2.5 or later

Resolution

  1. Open a terminal window on the Mobility server, enter the following:
    cd /opt/novell/datasync

  2. Download and extract remove.sh, enter the following:
    wget ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/remove.tgz
    tar xzf remove.tgz

  3. Login to WebAdmin and note the name of the connector that needs to be deleted.
    Note: The name will be case-sensitive.

  4. Edit /opt/novell/datasync/remove.sh and replace the word vibe to the name of the connector that is to be deleted. Please make sure to match the case of the connector as noted in Step 3.

  5. Save the file and type /opt/novell/datasync/remove.sh
