Situation

How to add users with duplicate GroupWise users IDs to Mobility Server
Users with different eDirectory UserID but duplicate GroupWise UserIDs receive wrong emails on the device

Resolution

  1. Please upgrade the POAs to the latest Support Pack for GroupWise 8 or GroupWise 2012. Latest Support Pack for GroupWise 8 or GroupWise 2012 can be found at https://download.novell.com/patch/finder
  2. Once the Post Office Agents have been upgraded, please login to webadmin (https://IPAddressofMobilityServer:8120)
  3. Click Users
  4. Click "Edit GroupWise settings" for the users in question (The middle icon besides the user)
  5. Change the Application User Name to the format of userid.postoffice.domain (Example: user1.mypo1a.mydom1)
  6. Click Save and click Close Window
  7. Click "Edit GroupWise settings" again for the user and make sure that the address book can be seen
