How to Take a SOAP Trace On A GroupWise POA

There is a need for a SOAP trace for troubleshooting a connectivity issue to GroupWise POA.


To enable soap trace on the POA, go to the POA http console at http://ipaddressofpoa:7181.  Click on the Configuration link at the top and then choose the Log Settings link.
In the Log Settings menu, choose the options for "Log SOAP Trace" and "Cycle Log" and then click on the Submit Button.

If capturing data specific to an operation, perform that operation and then go back and disable the SOAP trace and then cycle the log again.

The.XML file that contains the SOAP trace can be found in the same location that the POA log files are located.
