Changing Home Directory path does not get updated in Filr

Environment

Novell Filr 1.0

Situation

  • Servers containing Home Directories are being merged or moved to new servers and volumes.
  • Home Directory paths are being changed for users.
  • Home Directory path changes are not being reflected in Filr, so users can't access their Home Directories.
  • LDAP Sync and Net Folder Server sync does not help update Home Directory paths for users.

Resolution

A fix for this issue was included in the Novell Filr 1.0.1 release.

Cause

The Home Directory path attribute in Filr is not getting updated.
