Unable to create new NSD Items in the Customer Portal

Situation

When in the Customer Portal, new Items are unable to be created.

Resolution

Enabling the "Control CMS via RFC" function in Admin > Setup > Request Privileges will remove the ability to create new Items in the Customer Portal.
