Situation

(CIFS share) EMC CLARiiON NAS box fails to join DSfW Domain


EMC is expecting the defaultNamingContext attribute value in uppercase that is in the format, DC=dsfw1,DC=dsfw,DC=lan
But the DSfW server is returning in the format dc=dsfw1,dc=dsfw,dc=lan

Resolution

Resolved in April 2013 Maintenance Patch
