- Unable to Access Deleted Objects Container when Removing an OU from the Subtree List
Issue:
When you refresh the DRA Resource Cache, DRA does not display the correct service pack version and description for computers in trusted domains. (ENG315728, ENG316198)
Workaround:
Add the DRA service account to the local administrative group for each computer in a trusted domain.
Issue:
When you remove an OU from a managed subtree, DRA reports that it is unable to access the Deleted Objects Container. This issue is caused by DRA changing the domain credentials from the override account to the DRA service account when any OU is removed from the subtree list. (ENG318512)
Workaround:
Each time you remove any OU from the subtree list, configure the domain credentials to use the override account in the Managed Domains Properties window.
This hotfix also includes the following enhancements added in Hotfix 7010843, 7010389, and 73434:
The dropdown list when selecting focus domain in the DRA Web Console now displays all managed domains and servers. (ENG322391)
Issue:
When you use the Web Console to add users to groups, entering the user name directly and clicking Check Names produces an error. (ENG320195)
You can now check user names you have entered manually correctly in the Web Console.
When you clone a mailbox enabled account, DRA now correctly clones the target mailbox information store value for the cloned account. (ENG322865)
Users from any child domain you have not omitted can now be selected to populate fields such as the Managed By field. (ENG323487)
The All Managed Domains label when you search for Active Directory objects in the DRA Web Console is now named Current Focus Domain to accurately describe the functionality. (ENG323489)
After upgrading DRA from Version 8.1 to Version 8.6 SP2, you can now collect last logon statistics correctly. (ENG321570)
Clicking the Browse button on User Custom Wizard Pages in the Account and Resource Management console no longer causes DRA to stop unexpectedly. (ENG319308)
Code changes improve the performance of the Active Directory Collector during use. (ENG318947)
Multiple code changes improve the performance of Web Console startup and during use. (ENG320770)
This hotfix resolves an issue where mailbox features are unavailable after installing Hotfix 73434. (ENG321595)
This hotfix improves the performance of updating the description of unavailable computers by only updating the description in Active Directory. Available computers are unaffected by this change. (ENG316198)
This hotfix resolves an issue where the Administration server locks out all DRA activities during Multi-Master Set (MMS) synchronization on secondary Administration servers. (ENG317051)
This hotfix resolves an issue where DRA does not complete cloning or creating a new user account in DRA with a Microsoft Exchange 2010 mailbox. (ENG317377)
Before you install this hotfix, the DRA resource cache refresh does not collect the service pack version for computers running Microsoft Windows 2008 or later. After you install this hotfix, the DRA resource cache refresh collects the service pack versions for all Microsoft Windows computers. (ENG315728)
Before you install this hotfix, after installing Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP2, DRA does not properly manage Exchange support. For example, if you move a user with an Exchange 2010 mailbox from one mailbox store to another, the Exchange server still connects to the source mailbox store instead of the target. After you install this hotfix, DRA manages Exchange 2010 SP2 support properly. (ENG319055, ENG319176)
Before you install this hotfix, an issue exists where DRA incorrectly changes the domain and Exchange credentials when you add additional subtrees of a domain to be managed. When DRA changes these credentials, DRA can no longer access the Deleted Objects Container. After you install this hotfix, DRA retains the correct credentials when you add additional subtrees of a domain, and DRA can access the Deleted Objects Container. (ENG318512)
Before you install this hotfix, an issue exists where in an MMS configuration in which you have a trusted domain marked as omitted, when you move that domain to managed in the primary DRA server, the secondary DRA server still displays those domains marked as omitted. After you install this hotfix, the secondary DRA server correctly displays domains as managed. (ENG315511)
This hotfix resolves an issue where DRA does not allow you to enter a period in an Exchange alias field if the existing alias value is NULL. (ENG317368)
This hotfix resolves an issue where the Administration server returns an error when you create a group using a script and then rename the group using another script. (ENG315989)
