Situation

Users unable to receive emails after upgrading to Mobility Pack 1.2.5

Resolution

Please follow the steps listed below
  1. Type rcdatasync stop to stop DataSync.
  2. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/common/lib/datasync and rename engine.pyc to engine.orig.
  3. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/bin and rename AppInterface.pyc to AppInterface.orig.
  4. Download and extract engine.pyc and AppInterface.pyc from
    ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/807048.zip
  5. Copy the extracted engine.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/common/lib/datasync.
  6. Copy the extracted Appinterface.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/bin.
  7. Restart DataSync by typing rcdatasync start and press Enter.
