Environment

Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6
Novell Client 491SP5

Situation

After applying the eDirectory 8.7 plugins for ConsoleOne.   If you are are not authenticated into a tree with the Novell Client on the workstation, then attempt to launch ConsoleOne, it will prompt you to login to a tree.  The login will fail with a - 319 error.

Resolution

Delete the nmas.dll out of the Consoleone\1.2\bin directory and force it to use the newer one installed into system32.  That got rid of the -319 error.

Cause

The NMAS.DLL that was layed down in the Consoleone\1.2\bin directory with the eDirectory snapins is older than the one installed in the system32 directory with the Novell client current installed on the workstation.
