DSfW: ADC netbios configuration is not displaying the correct NetBIOS name

Situation

The netbios name is not the default as suggested during the install of the PDC (first DSfW server for the domain)
The ADC (addition domain controller) install shows the netbios name as the default domain name and not the modified name.

Example for domain named DSFW.LAN
The default or suggested netbios name will be DSFW
This can be changed during the install of the first DSfW server, say DSFWDOMAIN
On an ADC install the netbios name will be listed as DSFW and will be grayed out.
If the netbios name is not the default it will always be listed as the default name and can not be changed


Resolution

This is cosmetic, the ADC will install and will have the correct netbios name when finished.

Continue the install, when finished check the /etc/samba/smb.conf

In the [Global] section look for the workgroup.  The value for workgroup should show the correct netbios name.

Example:  workgroup = DSFWDOMAIN
