Situation
Some Emails crash the Mail app on iPad runing iOS 6.0/6.0.1 but iPhone running iOS 6.0/6.0.1 works fine
Opening the attached email crashes the Mail app on iPad
Opening the attached email works fine on iPhone
Resolution
This is a Device issue. Please contact Apple Support. The same thing happens with Microsoft Exchange
Additional Information
Steps to Duplicate:

Configure user1 on iPad
-
Login to GroupWise Client as user1

Click New | Mail
-
In the To Field, please type user1
-
Do not type anything in the Subject
-
Do not type anything in the Body
-
Attach a picture to the email
-
Send the email
-
Open the email on iPad and it should open up just fine

Now switch to GroupWise Client and open the email that was sent in step 8
-
Click Forward | Forward as Attachment and in the To field, type user1
-
Click Send
-
Open the new email on iPad and click "Download full message"

Click the eml file and it crashes the Mail App
The same thing works fine on iPhone
