Resolution
Situation:
The Extract used is suppose to be the same for the Authoritative Source; however, it will be coming from a new source. The question becomes, "if the AS is moved from one app to another will that break the manual correlations and or cubes?"
Please consider the following:
1. Keep the old AS turned ON
2. Add the new AS and ensure it links to existing identities
3. Turn off the old AS - set the file to empty (no user rows, header row
required)
4. Rerun Account Aggregation with the Detect Deleted flag enabled
5. Leave the old Application configured but TURNED OFF. This will ensure
reports, references etc. still work.
NOTE: This will need to be extensively tested in your DEV/Test environments prior to execution in your Prod environment, but should provide the desired outcome without losing correlations.
