VBS script file permission error for registry edit actions on Win2008

Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2
Windows 2008

Situation

Attempting to run a vbs script on Windows 2008 results in an invalid permissions issue. 

From the zmd-messages.log from a workstation experiencing the permissions concern.

Settings ACLs on C:\Users\pparker\AppData\Local\Temp\baa2c1b4-99a0-48c8-9451-cea7988da9c8\9b229f57375e30e238056f3fad9877b8-Run_Script-33940143Input.xml  for W2008D\pparker

The Issue is with the logged in user/domain name:

The domain name: W2008DOMAIN
The username is: pparker

the domain name is being truncated.


Resolution

This issue is resolved when updating from ZENworks 11.2 to ZENworks 11.2.1

Cause

The root issue is with the logged in user/domain name, the domain name is being truncated resulting in an invalid user and followed by invalid permissions.
